Many Tampa historians
have often speculated upon the origin of the name "Palma
Ceia." Perhaps it was originally said to be the "seat" or "base" of
the Palm, or "Palma Silla" by early Spanish
speaking settlers.
Palma Ceia exists today
as one of Tampa's most exclusive communities. The antique,
red brick roads shaded by enormous oaks and its intimate
neighborhood character make Palma Ceia a colonnade
of beautiful homes centrally located within Tampa's
Interbay peninsula. A wide range of housing designs
and price ranges accent one of Tampa's most premier
neighborhoods locations.
Palma Ceia has maintained
consistent appeal to Tampa natives since the early
1920's. Renowned golf course frontage and immediate
access to major transportation corridors contribute
to this neighborhood's attractiveness.
Homes from the
$250's to the $3 millions.
